Initial client comments
Head shape:
Roundish. The neck was thick and not that long.
Hair:
All over. Fur all the way up to the lips and eyes.
Skin:
Light brown.
Eyes:
Eyes were large and black. Rounder than a normal humans. Less fur around the eyes and it was lighter.
Nose:
Just like the Patty sketch.
Ears:
Don't remember the ears.
Mouth:
Fur all of the way up to the lips.
Other:
Looked alot like the Patty sketch. No area without fur.
Iteration One
|
Witness comments to iteration one:
Hair longer. Visible mouth a little less wide --
maybe 2/3 of the dark line on the left side slightly less visible. Neck
slightly longer (Maybe 1/8" lower as it enlarges on my screen -- or about
1/2 way through the dark locks on the right). It seems that the shape of
the brow was slightly broader at the eyes and the eyes just a little
farther apart but leave that until the other changes. As I hold up fingers
and thumbs to see the neck and mouth differently those seem the most
crucial. The eyes are really good. As I mentioned when we talked, the fur
around the eyes and on the nose of the individual I saw was sparcer and
shorter but there and I think you caught that. If there is any change on
the fur, don't darken those areas.
Also, I know this sounds stupid, but the expression of the eyes was both
very intense (alert, inquisitive) and, forgive the subjectivity, very
compassionate.

Iteration Two
|
Witness comments to iteration two:
The face is there -- I hope you can use this sketch with a
modification because you've captured something about it that I'm afraid of
loosing. The most important change is in the shape of the head which is
broader (rounded) at the eyebrow, eye and cheek level. The upper head is
good. Over the right eye on your sketch is a line that comes from the
bridge of the nose over above the eyebrow. From the height of the top of
that line is where the head needs to begin to be broader and the outline
would come back to your drawing right between the height of the nose and
mouth and then the shoulders out from there. (It is a rounding of that
area) The amount of broadening of the side of the head is about the depth
of the upper lip or slightly less. The shoulders start out at a height just
above the mouth (I know, I know...last time I told you the neck was
longer...)
If you want I can fax you what I did to the sketch that made it click.
The face is very like what I saw. There is something about the nose that I
want to change but I'm incapable of seeing what it is and I feel
comfortable that this looks like what I saw.

Witness comments to iteration three:
Bring the rounded area on the right side down to the level of the mouth and
it's there. This looks like what I saw.
