Sasquatch Head Sketch Session
Witness: Steve Shelton
Location: Wyoming
Report: 1244

Initial client comments
Head shape: 50% gorilla 50% human, head slopes farther back after the brow. Barely any neck. Big brow
Hair: Coarse like a horse's mane. Messed up like a spring bear. 2-3" in length. No beard. No hair on face. Chocolate black in color.
Skin: Kenyan in color, like a really black skinned person, with charcoal on it. Like a bear's paw in color.
Eyes: Deep set under the brow. Hard to see in the light. No eyebrows.
Nose: Human-like, big more like a negroe nose.
Ears:
Mouth: Wide mouth, edges of mouth went to about the edges of eyes. Mouth did not protrude like an ape's muzzle.
Other: Did not look like that Gigantopithecus replica. Looked more like the Bill Asmussen sketches.

Iteration One
Witness comments to iteration one: Your sketch is a very good starter. Make brow line even more pronounced, almost hiding the eyes, darken the eyes, make top of head a little pointier and taller, hair a little longer, nose a little longer closer to the mouth and flatter, nostril holes are fine. Mouth needs to be a little wider, less of a dip from the cheek bones to the jaw.

Iteration Two
Witness comments to iteration two: We are getting real close, (you are I mean). Make the nose a little flatter still, make the hair start at the edge of the cheek bone on the side of the head and taper it off the face where the jaw starts. Take a quarter of the chin off and square it more, I mean a quarter of the distance from the lower lip to the bottom of the chin, make it a shorter distance between the lower lip and the bottom of the chin, and square it more not pointy. I dont know how you would do it but can you make the cheek bones on the face under the eyes look more prominent, like there is a sagital crest on both sides of the eyes, not so drastic but more prominent than iteration two.

Iteration Three
Witness comments to iteration three: Try and flare the nostrils out more, make the holes larger and more prominent. Let me see it after that.

Iteration Four (Final)
Witness comments to iteration four: Thats about as close as we are going to get. I was twelve when this occured, but I haven't forgotten. The picture looks very close, if it was color and we could put a body on the head that would be really cool!!! Let me know.
